How to make BPdc
INSTRUCTIONS
Step-by-step instructions
BPdc – back post double crochet: yo, insert your hook from back to front to back around the post of the stitch below and pull up a loop; yo and draw through 2 loops, yo and draw through the remaining 2 loops on the hook. Always skip the stitch in front of each BPdc.
In charts, it is shown using the standard BPdc symbol. Depending on the pattern, it may be worked around the post of a sc, FPdc, FPtr, or another special stitch (or as indicated in pattern).
